Genuine inclusiveness

I don't want to like talk on the experiences of my friends, but they do talk about how usually they are always the one shown on like the big screen at football games. And that way, it can showcase that there is, let's say, a lot of diversity, or that they are inclusive, but being, the word inclusive means, like, actually being able to be engaged, and actually take initiative of inclusivity. Like, it's not just oh, here's a picture of X racial group that we have on campus, like, that's not, that's not being inclusive.

Being inclusive is actually having discussions, interactions or being able to. Again, create these safe spaces. So I feel like I definitely have seen a lot of groups on campus. I do try to one only maybe like have conversations or relationships with people that they do identify with. I would say that maybe This happens only because out of fear. Definitely when you come to an environment in which you're already very unfamiliar with, it's easier to be in this safe space with someone who looks like you or you feel like you are at home with. So, definitely I have seen that here on campus where you know, Latino students doing that with Latino students.

I'm not speaking for all. Definitely there are, definitely, like, Many groups I'm including myself that you know, you're not just hanging out with one race or one cultural ethnic background You know but I definitely have seen that and I feel like it's mainly out of fear in terms of like, you know, you feel like you can't be who you are because you're hanging out with other people.
